This course is suited to Higher level students who are motivated to achieve their best possible grade. The material is suited to target grade 8-9 students.

It is designed for use from around June in year 10. It should be used well in advance of the GCSE exams as it teaches students how to structure their revision effectively. 

It provides 3 weeks of scaffolded revision.

It is ideal preparation for the year 10 mocks, or as work over the summer. It could also be used as preparation for the first set of mocks in the Autumn term.

Please note that this course will clearly explain and demonstrate what effective revision looks like, and is not a full revision programme. 3 weeks is not sufficient for this. However, I do offer a 28 week programme that covers the entire syllabus. You can find out more below if you are interested.

The 3 week course How to Support Students Targeting a Maths GCSE Grade 8/9 is a stand alone course.

At the end of the course, you and your child will have a clear understanding of how to revise effectively for top grades in their Maths GCSE.

They will have a clear roadmap towards Grade 8-9 success.

Please note that this is not the full revision programme that covers all of the content for the syllabus with printed materials but is intended to offer a substantial concrete programme that demonstrates how to revise with 3 weeks of high quality revision content. The 3 week scaffolded course is priced at only £27. Each week of support therefore costs less than £10. This is far less than the cost of tuition.

The cost of this course will be deducted from the cost of the full 28 week programme if you decide that you would like to purchase this in future.

It contains the entire Higher level GCSE syllabus broken down into 28 sessions. It is designed such that it can be started at the beginning of year 11, or can be started at a later point.

A new module is delivered every week from near to the start of year 11.

It includes a very similar format to the short course, but I will also post the Grade 8-9 questions to your address.

Your child will also be given access to mathswatch until July 2027, and will receive short mathswatch assignments every week linked to key subject videos.
